This organization seeks to create an identity affirming space where marginalized USD students are able, and encouraged, to intentionally discuss the graduate school process and the many different options and resources available for post-graduate work. Through programming, professional development, mentorship, and collaboration with USD and community partners, this organization looks to focus on the nuances of choosing a program, navigating through the application process, and ensuring success in graduate school. In cultivating this space, the group strives to facilitate connections amongst students that will create a sense of community which will allow participating students to reflect, affirm, and strengthen their individual identities and experiences to develop their own sense of purpose, belonging, and responsibility to their community.
